DuBOIS – Myrtle A. Seeley, 97, formerly of 312 West Weber Ave., died Sunday at Christ the King Manor.

Born July 13, 1896, in Hazelton, she was a daughter of the late David E. and Mary Frances Howey Seeley.

She was a retired elementary school teacher from the DuBois Area School District. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the WCTU.

Survivors include three nephews, Richard Seeley, Martinsburg, W. Va., William Seeley, Hyattsville, Md., and William M. Seeley, Oakland, Calif.; and two nieces, Marjorie Greenway, New Carrollton, Md., and Elizabeth Stevens, Walnut Creek, Calif.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

SEELEY: Myrtle A., formerly of 312 Weber Ave., DuBois, died Jan. 23, 1994. Friends will be received from 7 – 9 p.m. Tuesday and until service time Wednesday at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel Inc., DuBois. The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday from the funeral home with the Rev. Claude Hunsberger officiating. Burial will follow in the Morningside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Manor.
