Myrtle Jane Seeley Feb. 22, 1910 - May 20,2011
Myrtle Jane Seeley of Hillsdale passed away on May 20, 2011, at the Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility. She was born on Feb. 22, 1910 in Williams County, Ohio, the daughter of William and Emma Lambright.
Myrtle is survived by four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband LeRoy W. Seeley whom she married on Feb. 20, 1929. She was also preceded in death by her son Daniel Seeley in 1972; one grandson, David Seeley of Boyne City; and three brothers Roy, Ernest and Melvin.
Mrs. Seeley and her husband were married for 74 years and owned and operated the Hillsdale Heating and Air Conditioning business for many years. She was a member of the Fayette Street Church of Christ in Hillsdale. Myrtle enjoyed cooking, fishing, traveling on vacation and spending time with her husband.
A funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Myrtle Jane Seeley will be at 11 a.m. at the Hampton-Kurtz Funeral Home in Hillsdale on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, with Pastor Alan LaRue officiating. Interment will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery in Hillsdale. The family will receive friends for visitation from 3-5 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2011 at the funeral home. Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to the Fayette Street Church of Christ or Lake James Christian Assembly. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
