SEELEY, NANCY MARIE The family of Nancy Marie Seeley regretfully announces her passing on February 4, 2011. Nancy was born in Brecksville, Ohio, October 21, 1931 to parents Harry A. Seeley and Emma M. Barrett. She relocated to San Diego from Medina, Ohio in 1972. She embraced the natural beauty of Southern California and considered the San Diego community her personal Shangri-La. Nancy derived professional satisfaction and pride from a successful career with Great American Saving Bank until 1995. She cultivated a wide and diverse circle of valued friends that were inspired by her creativity, energy, and indomitable love of life. Her two children, Michael of San Diego and Sherry Lynn of Julian are forever blessed by her illustrative parental guidance. Nancy was an enthusiastic traveler, showing a bias toward the Hawaiian Islands and the Greater Pacific, where her cremains will be eternally imparted. No services are scheduled. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: San Diego State University, Attn: SDSU Audiology Clinic 5500 Campanile Drive, MC 1518, San Diego, CA 92782-1518. Please make checks payable to: SDSU Research Foundation. Note Nancy Seeley on memo of check. One of Nancy's gifts was surmounting obstacles, including a serious hearing disability from childhood. She would be gratified knowing the clinic's important work is acknowledged in her memory.
