Nellie Seeley, 98, of Muskogee passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home Sunday morning, March 7, 2004. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at Lescher-Millsap Chapel. Burial will be at 2:00 P.M. in Rose Lawn Cemetery at Fort Smith, Arkansas under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.

Mrs. Seeley was born on December 29, 1905 in Fort Smith, Arkansas the daughter of Charles Peak and Emma (Whitkamp) Peak. Mrs. Seeley received her schooling in Fort Smith and later worked at The Boston Store in Ft. Smith as a clerk and in alterations. During the mid 1920s Nellie married Ray Ferenbaugh who preceded her in death. In 1950 Nellie moved to Tulsa and worked for Vandiver's Dept. Store and in 1952 she married Hoyt Seeley and moved to Muskogee. While living in Muskogee she worked for Durnil's Dept. Store and later for Carol Lee's. She retired in 1981. Mrs. Seeley was a lifetime member of First Methodist Church. Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Hoyt Seeley, and son William Ferenbaugh.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews; and a daughter-in-law Mary Ferenbaugh of Muskogee.
