Nelson Seeley - November 16, 2010
Nelson Seeley, 73, of Schooley Rd. Cato, NY died on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY. Mr. Seeley was born in Syracuse, NY, the son of the late Raymond and Gladys House Seeley and has resided in Clay, NY before moving to Cato, NY. He was a member of the East Grand Packard Club in which he and his wife, Suzanne were founding members of the club. Mr. Seeley enjoyed antique cars and anything relating to cars. He retired after 37 years from Western Electric in Syracuse and was also employed at the Radisson in the golf course maintenance department for many years.
Surviving are his wife of 25 1/2 years, Suzanne Luther Seeley of Cato, NY; son, Christopher Seeley and his wife, Colleen of Cato, NY; daughters, Tamera Allen and her husband, Edward of Cato, NY, Deborah Condes and her husband, Johnny of Weedsport, NY, Kimberly Seeley of Silver Spring, Maryland; grandchildren, Edward II, Kayla, Cheryl, Jason, Scott, Tracy and Nicole, seven great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Seeley of Syracuse, NY; sister, Ethel Gell of Interlaken, NY; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Nelson was predeceased by a brother, Robert Seeley and a grandson, Jonathan Condes.
Friends are invited to call from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the Jewell Funeral Home, 8886 S. Seneca St. Weedsport, NY.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of the Finger Lakes, 1130 Corporate Drive, Auburn, NY 13021 in memory of Nelson.
