Norman Donald Seeley, 86, passed away Sept. 25, 2008 at Desert Valley Hospital in Victorville. Donald was a resident of the High Desert for 43 years.

He was born on Nov. 12, 1922 in Cornell, Wisc. He served in the U.S. Air Force for two years. Norman was the previous owner of Seeley's Garage in Hesperia. He was an avid fisherman and loved to take trips to Stateline.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Arlene Seeley of Hesperia, his daughter, Sandra Seeley of Spring Valley Lake and his son Len Seeley of Apple Valley.

His son Len has been the mechanic at Spring Valley Lake for 22 years and his daughter Sandra Seeley is a local photographer and para-educator at Vista Campana Middle School in Apple Valley.

A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30 at Sunset Hills Memorial Chapel, 24000 Waalew Road, Apple Valley. Graveside services will begin at 1 p.m. at Sunset Hills Memorial Park with Pastor Steeve Arseneault officiating.

Sunset Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
