HURRICANE - Dr. Oliver Seeley DVM (Bud) passed away at his home surrounded by his wife and friends on Thursday February 26, 2009.

He was born April 27, 1930 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah and moved at an early age to Bakersfield, California where he graduated from High School and entered the Air Force.

After his discharge he entered the University of California at Davis and graduated with a Doctorate of Science Degree in Veterinarian Medicine. He moved to Orange County California and practiced Equine Veterinarian Medicine for 40 years. He retired to Hurricane, Utah where he continued his love of caring for animals. Bud had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel the country side enjoying the scenery and views of the Utah Mountains. He enjoyed hiking and walking the Utah State Parks.

Bud is survived by his wife Carol, daughter Ariana (Alec) Hoke, grandchildren Cameron and Olivia Hoke, sister Sammy (James) Parsley, nephews Paul and Gregory Woolley, niece Diane Woolley, Carol's children Bobby, Gary, Ted, Jodi, Rodney, Scott and many many wonderful friends and clients.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday March 3, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hurricane 17th Ward LDS Chapel, located at 452 N. 2600 W. in Hurricane, UT. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Interment Hurricane City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers and in honor of Bud's memory, the family requests that donations be sent to Southern Utah Home Care and Hospice/Garth B. Last Foundation, 640 E. 700 S. Suite 101 St. George, Utah 84790. The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful loving care Bud received from Southern Utah Home Care and Hospice.
