Mrs. Orba D. Sanders Seeley, 70, of 550 Grant died Friday, July 29, 1977, at the Weber Memorial Hospital in Roy.

She was born Nov. 4., 1906, at Fairview, Utah, a daughter of David Darius and Alice Melinda Petersen Sanders.

She married Frank Seeley on Oct. 30, 1929, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died May 28, 1975.

She had been a seamstress at the Defense Depot Ogden and had worked for Deseret Industries. She had been active in the LDS Church and had worked in the YWMIA, the Sunday School and the Relief Society at the Ogden LDS Branch for the Deaf.

She was a member of the Utah Association for the Deaf.

Surviving are two sons and three daughters, Frank S. Seeley, Bellevue, Wash.; Larry Dean Seeley, Helena, Mont.; Mrs. Robert (Leah) Neilson and Mrs. Pete (Marilyn) Martinez, both of Roy; Mrs. Norman (Beth) Sevy, Ogden; 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters, Christain F. Sanders, Kansas, Mrs. Harry (Leah) Oonk, St. George; Mrs. Viola Whipple, Logan.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in the Myers Mortuary Chapel in Ogden with President Roy Cochran of the Branch for the Deaf officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday prior to services.

Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch Cemetery.
