Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton, followed by the funeral at 2.

Burial in Highland Cemetery, New Columbia.

LEWISBURG — Pauline E. Seeley, 82, of 220 N. 11th St., Lewisburg, died Saturday afternoon, Oct. 11, 2008, in Kramm Nursing Home, Watsontown.

Born Sept. 22, 1926, in Kulpmont, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Esther (Irwin) Shipper.

Her husband, Jesse Seeley, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Seeley graduated from high school in Allentown.

She retired from Laurelton State School, where she had been an attendant.

Mrs. Seeley enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, reading, traveling and had many pen pals across the states.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael B. and Doris Carter of White Hall; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Roxanne L. and Kenneth Snyder of Lewisburg, Amber J. and Peter Axeman of Williamsport, Darlene L. Oister of Milton and Rebecca Williams of Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren, Larry Grandin, Kenneth Snyder II, Michelle Kratzer, William Snyder, Ruthann Carter, Lynette Garcia, Michael Carter II, Paul Carter, August Oister, Noel Brown, Charlotte and Ken Young; 18 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lenora Grimms of Leon, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Robbie Young; and a half sister, Gladys Baumgartner.

Visitors may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery, New Columbia.
