Pauline Seeley SEELEY, MRS. PAULINE, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, February 5, 2003, where she joined her sweetheart and beloved husband. They were charter members of Shades Valley Lutheran Church. She sang in the choir and participated in other programs with her church. She was a volunteer at Brookwood Hospital Volunteer Services, and a member of the American Business Women's Association. She is survived by, her daughter, Carol Runnels; her son, Jon (Martha) Seeley; her grandchildren, Jon Runnels of Pensacola, Bonnie (Greg) Hassler and Jeff (Angie) Seeley; and her three great grandsons, Austin and Zachary Seeley, and Skylar Hassler. Funeral services will be held at Shades Valley Lutheran Church on Saturday, February 8, 2003 at 11:00 am, with interment to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Hoover. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and on Saturday from 10:00 am until 10:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that contributions be made to the Shades Valley Memorial Fund, The Heart of Birmingham Scholarship Fund, Brookwood Hospital Auxiliary Fund or the Odyssey Hospice Volunteer Program.
