AUGUSTA, Ga. – Entered into rest Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Doctors Hospital, Mr. Paul Seeley, 85, husband of 65 years to his beloved wife Isabel Seeley.

Mr. Seeley was formally of Royal Oak, MI and a resident of Augusta for the past 21 years. He was a member of Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church and the Damren Sunday School Class. He loved and enjoyed the fellowship of his friends at UMC. Mr. Seeley served in the U.S. Navy during WW II from 1942 to 1946.

Paul most enjoyed being with his beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. His many nieces and nephews all loved their Uncle Paul. He also enjoyed golfing and bowling. Paul was a little league baseball and hockey coach in Royal Oak, MI in the 1950s and 1960s.

Family members in addition to his wife include his sons: Gary Paul Seeley of Colon, MI, the late Richard Allen Seeley; daughter-in-law: Sue Lapanowski of Davison, MI; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was predeceased in death by his brothers Irwin and George, and a sister Francis.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Trinity on the Hill Worship Center, Wesley Hall with the Rev. Greg Hatfield officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
