Pearl R. Seeley

Pearl R. Seeley, 74, R.F.D. 4 Bellefontaine, a retired farmer, died at 12:10 p.m. Thursday in Venice hospital, Venice, Fla, where he and his wife had gone Nov. 6 to spend the winter. Sojourning there was their annual custom the past 10 years during the cold months. Death followed a stroke.

Mr. Seeley was born in Fulton county May 13, 1892, a son of Isaac and Effie Seeley. He was a member of the Bellefontaine First Church of God, active in Logan County Farm Bureau council work, and had served on the Washington township school board and was president at one time.

Surviving are his wife, Esther Overholser Seeley: four sons, Ronald Seeley, Goulds, Fla.; Lloyd Seeley, R.F.D. 1 Lakeview; James Seeley, 300 North Stanley street, and Wayne Seeley, R.F.D. 4 Bellefontaine; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Lois) Miller, R.F.D. 3 Urbana; 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild; two sisters, Miss Carrie Seeley, Springfield, and Mrs. Lowery (Herma) Quinn, Denver, Colo., and two brothers, Lester Seeley, Milford, and Stanley Seeley, Osprey, Fla. Two sisters are dead.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Eichholtz funeral home, conducted by Rev. Cecile C. Mayle. Burial will follow in the Huntsville cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home afternoon Sunday.
