A member of the Folsom Fire Department for 19 years, he passed away on August 31, 2005. Capt. Seeley began his career with the Folsom Fire Dept. in 1986 as a part-time resident firefighter in Folsom. In 1989 he was hired full-time as a firefighter. Capt. Seeley was also a licensed Paramedic in Sacramento County. In 1992, he earned a degree in business management from Calif. State University, Sacramento. Seeley was promoted to Captain in 1996 and also served as an acting Battalion Chief. Capt. Seeley was involved in several Fire Dept. service programs including the Paramedic Bicycle Team. He enjoyed the company of family and his closest friends, as well as, riding quad runners, camping, and fishing. Capt. Seeley is survived by his wife of 22 years, Debby, and their daughter Michelle (14) and son Mitchell (10). Ralph Seeley is also survived by his mother Dazey Hoey of Bend, OR, and father Charles Seeley of Suisan City, CA, his brother Brian Seeley and his wife Kate of Orangevale, CA, his sister Cheryl Dawn and her husband Jeff of Bend, as well as, several nieces and nephews.
