Seeley, Raymond G. Haslett, MI Raymond died unexpectedly Sunday, October 17, 2004, at Ingham Regional Medical Center from pneumonia, at the age of 85. He was a resident of Haslett and had retired from Motor Wheel in 1986. He was a part time farmer and loved animals. He served in the Army in WWII for four years in the Army Anti-Aircraft Unit in the South Pacific, mostly in New Guinea and Australia. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Dorothy; 4 children, Raymond Jr. (Janet), Karen (Ed) Grab, Kathleen Byrnes and John Seeley; 1 granddaughter, Valerie; 1 sister, June Nelson of Hartland, MI. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 20, 11:00 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 955 Alton Road, East Lansing with the Rev. David J. Speicher, Pastor, officiating. The Rite of Committal will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bath with Military services provided by the VFW Post #701, Lansing. The family will receive friends at the Gorsline-Runciman Co. East Chapel, 1730 E. Grand River Avenue, East Lansing, Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM with the Rosary at 6:00 PM.
