SEELEY, RICHARD "DICK" R. - Richard "Dick" R. Seeley, 69, of Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton and formerly of Lakeville, Westmorland Co., passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, August 19, 2009. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late James and Katherine (Hamilton) Seeley. Dick was a former employee at Eastern Bakeries Ltd., with 31 years service. He was a former member of the New Brunswick Antique Car Club and the Fundy Radio Club. An avid antique car buff, he enjoyed tinkering on his cars and driving around seeing the sights in them. Most importantly, however, was spending time with his family.

Dick will be sadly missed by his wife of 45 years, Myrna (Renton) Seeley; son, Ross (Shelley), Lakeville, Westmorland Co.; sisters, Helen Cormie, Lakeville, Westmorland Co., Willah Wasson (Layton), Moncton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers John (Jack) and Frederick.

In honoring Dick's wishes, no visitation or public funeral service. Private family service to be held. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery, Lakeville, Westmorland Co. In Dick's memory, donations to Lakeville United Church, Lakeside Cemetery Fund or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
