CONWAY Richard Stanley Seeley, 74, of Timberline Drive, died Friday, Nov. 7, 2003 at his residence.

Mr. Seeley was born in New Market, Va., a son of the late Edward Howard and Myrtle Irene Watson Seeley. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church.

Mr. Seeley attended school in the Washington, D.C area, where he worked as a paint contractor, taxi cab owner/operator, sporting goods store owner/operator, and employee of the U.S. Department of Defense. After retiring in 1989, Richard and his wife moved to the Myrtle Beach area.

Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Ann Schutte Seeley of Conway; two sons, Richard S. Seeley Jr. and his fiance, Linda, of Chicago and Edward F. Seeley and his wife, Amy, of Myrtle Beach; two daughters, Tessie Winslow and her husband, Mark, of Myrtle Beach and Tina Forbrich and her husband, Richard, of Shreveport, La.; one brother, Jack Seeley and his wife, Sallie, of Crofton, Md.; seven grandchildren, Chris Winslow, Alex Winslow, Brynn Forbrich, Angelo Seeley, and Elizabeth Wait and their mother, Rosa, and Andrew and Emily Seeley and their mother, Sherri; two great-grandchildren, Tony Seeley and Tiffany Seeley.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10 at St. James Catholic Church with the Rev. Rick Labrecque officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway chapel.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9 with a wake service starting at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway chapel.
