Publication Robert Charles Seeley, 66, went home to be with his Lord Nov. 8, 1991 at Akron General Medical Center.

Bob was a loving, nurturing husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who love him.

Bob was born in Mallet Creek, Ohio, raised in Medina, and lived the last 30 years in Bath, Ohio. He served his country in World War II with the U.S. Army Artillery Corps Battery D125. He attended Kent State University and worked for the New York Life Insurance Co. for 41 years. Bob was honored with many awards for his excellent service and made many lasting friendships over the years.

Bob was a member of the Chapel in University Park, where he served as deacon, on visitation, and taught Bible Studies and Sunday School classes.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lynnae (Carl); sons and daughters- in-law, Kraig and Nancy Seeley, Charles and Robin Seeley; daughter and son- in-law, Karen and Jon Sommer; and daughter, Lorra Mizner of Phoenix, Ariz. He also leaves 11 grandchildren, Jena, Jonathon, Aren and Leah Sommer Kristin, Charles, Kelley and Heather Seeley, Terah, Andrea and Danielle Mizner. He is also survived by his brother, Kermit (Virginia) Seeley of Oberlin; sister, Josephine (Wayne) Crum of Medina; sister-in-law, Mrs. Quinten (Beckie) Seeley of Medina; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Norman and Donna Carl and Marvin and Louann Carl.

Funeral service will be Monday, 11 a.m., at the Chapel in University Park in the Memorial Chapel, Rev. Eloy Pacheco and Rev. Bob Messner officiating.

Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd., Sunday, 5 to 8:30 p.m.; and one hour prior to service time at the church. If desired, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Chapel Missionary Fund, 135 Fir Hill; or First Baptist
