SEELEY, Robert E. "Bob" - Of Flint, age 74, died Monday, October 11, 2004 at Masonic Pathways Senior Living Services in Alma, Michigan. Funeral service will be held at 11AM Friday, October 15, 2004 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Bill McKown officiating. A military service will be held following the funeral by the Chevrolet VFW Post #3087. Cremation will take place following the service and burial of cremains will be held at a later date at Forest Hill Cemetery in Evart, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Masonic Pathways or Shriners Crippled Children's Hospital or charity of one's choice. Visitation 5-8PM Wednesday, 12-2 and 4-8PM Thursday at the funeral home. A memorial service will be conducted at 7PM Thursday evening by the Fenton Lodge #109, F.&A.M. Mr. Seeley was born in Flint, Michigan on February 1, 1930. He married Barbara White on March 9, 1963 in Ohio. He was a member of Fenton Lodge #109, F.&A.M., Elf Khurafeh Shrine Temple, Knights Templar Durand Commandery #021 and Royal Arch Masons of Michigan, Durand Chapter #139. He was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Chevrolet Post #3087, Disabled American Veterans, Genesee Chapter #3, Loyal Order of Moose Club, Lodge #1168, Holly, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Fenton Aerie #2460 and Lake Aerie #3761. Mr. Seeley was a charter member of Michigan Eagles Family Recreation Center in Lake, Michigan and a member of Lake Rod and Gun Club, Inc of Lake, Michigan. Surviving are wife, Barbara V. Seeley (White); 4 children, Robert Funseth, Rick and wife Gwen Funseth of Otisville, Theresa and husband David Canterbury of Swartz Creek, Penny and husband Randy Keen of Millington; grandchildren, Tara, Heather, Bobby, Trever, Chasity, Krystal, Kalli and Jodi; great-grandchildren, Nikolaos and Emily; special cousins, Paul and Penny Osborne and family; special friends, Jack and June Vickers. He was preceded in death by parents, Oscar and Alice Seeley; aunts and uncles, Jack and Hazel Head, Samuel and Nell Osborne. Bob had many good times with his family and friends at Eight Point Lake in Northern Michigan.
