ELLICOTTVILLE - Ronald "Peter" Seeley, 70, Monroe Street, died Monday evening (Dec. 19, 2005) in his home.

Born Oct. 9, 1935, he was the son of Edward M. Seeley and Alice E. Seeley.

Mr. Seeley served in the United States Military as a marine and was employed for many years at Harrison Radiator and then worked for the town of Ellicottville as a building inspector.

He is survived by two daughters, Julie (Brendan) O'Grady of Overland Park, Kan., and Amy (Bill) Cobb of Cleveland, Ohio; two sons, Edward (Audrey) Seeley of West Valley and Ross Seeley of Springville and five grandchildren: Ryan O'Grady, Austin O'Grady, Mary Grace O'Grady, William Cobb and Marie Elizabeth Seeley, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by one sister, Merry A. Seeley of Little Genesee and one brother, Robert (Diane) Seeley of Amherst.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Eugene Seeley and Richard Seeley.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Jan. 7 at the Mentley Funeral Home, 411 Rock City St., Little Valley, for family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ellicottville American Legion, 6500 Maples Road, Ellicottville.
