In Loving Memory Rose Seeley

The Eldest child of Alva and Marie Arnold, Charlotte Rose Seeley, was born May 14, 1924, in Miles City, Montana. Rose passed on to her new life April 1, 2004. Rose spent her childhood on a ranch in the rural countryside of Cache Creek, near Broadus, Montana. Married to Kenneth Lee Seeley in 1942, Rose moved to California in 1945 where Ken received his U.S. Army discharge. They spent 35 years in San Pablo. Upon retirement, Rose and Ken moved to McArthur, California. Her husband of 47 years, Ken passed on in 1990. Rose resided in Fair Oaks, California, since 1994. Rose was a loving, devoted wife and mother. A Christian woman, she was member of MacArthur Community Baptist Church in San Pablo. An active community member, she worked with school PTA’s and the San Pablo Rainbow Girls Assembly #117. She was a den mother for her son’s Cub Scout pack, and a Brownie and Girl Scout Troop Leader for her daughter. Rose had many enjoyments. She loved music and dancing. She was proficient at a variety of needlework and craft projects, and won many awards for her crocheting abilities. She shared the pleasures of fishing and card-playing with her husband. Rose and Ken spent many retirement years traveling in their recreational vehicle. She especially enjoyed visiting with family, friends and spending time with her grandchildren. Rose is survived by her son Robert Seeley; daughter Cleona (Cooper) Green; sister Cledis Currie; brothers John Arnold and Charles Arnold; two granddaughters, two grandsons, two great granddaughters, and two great-grandsons. Interment will be April 16, 2004 at Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Sacramento, California.
