Russell J. Seeley, 56, of Two Harbors, formerly of Duluth, died Thursday, Nov. 7, 1996, in Lake View Memorial Hospital, Two Harbors.

He was born Aug. 24, 1940, to Unes and Gordon Seeley in Duluth, where he grew up and attended school. He was a sheet metal worker for over 15 years in the Duluth area and was self-employed as a logger for many years. For the past five years he worked for Rasmussen Well Drilling of Two Harbors.

A brother, Douglas, died in 1975.

Survivors include two sons, Scott of Two Harbors and Rodney of Duluth; a daughter, Julie Smith of Two Harbors; his mother, Unes VanDyke of Lake Worth, Fla.; his fiancee, Kay Edwardson of Two Harbors; four brothers, Richard of Loxahatchee, Fla., Dale, Lyle and Dennis, all of Duluth; two sisters, Joan Whiteside of Duluth and Claudia Lindbeck of St. Cloud, Minn.; and five grandchildren.

Visitation: will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Cavallin Funeral Home in Two Harbors with funeral services at 1:30 p.m. on Monday in Condordia Lutheran Church in Duluth. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Duluth.
