Mrs. Seeley, Troy Man’s Mother, Dies
Mrs. A. James Seeley Sr., 73 of Round Lake, mother of Dr. A. James Seeley Jr., Troy chiropractor, died yesterday at her home on Covel avenue, Round Lake, after a brief illness.
She was born in Sparta, Mich., daughter of the late Nelson E. and Evelyn Munyon Fargo. She was the former Ruth Fargo.
Mrs. Seeley was educated in the Sparta schools and had been a resident of Round Lake for the last 40 years. She was a member of the Church of God.
Survivors besides her son are her husband, Dr. A.J. Seeley, a daughter, Miss Evelyn Seeley, Indianapolis, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. J. Irene Tuck of Troy, two brothers, Myron D. Fargo, Santa Cruz, Calif., and Ralph Fargo, Pattersonville, and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home, 6th street and 5th Ave., Watevliet, Rev. E. Joseph Gilliam, pastor of the Church of God of Indianapolis, Ind., officiating. Interment will be in Dunning Street Rural Cemetery at Malta.
