Ruth M. Seeley, 73, died Friday evening, Nov. 15, 2002, in her home following an extended illness. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa, by Pastor Nathan Loehr. Burial: Wilcox Cemetery, Anamosa. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa.

Ruth M. Boots was born Sept. 26, 1929, in Monticello. She was the daughter of Harry and Sarah Quaintence Boots. Ruth attended school in Monticello. On Jan. 6, 1948, she married Glenn A. Seeley.

Survivors include four sons, Glenn "Butch" (Linda) Jr., Richard "Darcie" (Cindy) and Les (Diane), all of Anamosa, and Chris of Hannibal, Mo.; two daughters, Annette (Edward) Meyer of Marengo and Trudy (Carl) Cunningham of Hannibal, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jean Topping of Waverly and Erma Ehlts of Monticello; and two special friends, Sharon and Church Schrader of Viola.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glenn, on May 1, 1988; two sons, Dorian and Charles; four brothers, Harry, Earl, Morris and Edgar; two sisters, Loretta Chapman and Luella Appleby; a grandson and a great-grandson.
