ABILENE – Sarah E. Seeley, 85, Abilene, died Sunday, March 29, 1992, at the Enterprise Estates Nursing Home.

Mrs. Seeley was born Sarah E. Fleagle on June 13, 1906, at Abilene and spent her early years farming in the Marion community. She lived in Solomon for several years, where she was employed by the Seymour Packing Co. After living in Great Bent for several years, she returned to Abilene in 1965.

She was preceded in death by a son, Elmer Costigan.

Survivors include her husband Ralph of Abilene; four sons, Kenneth Costigan of Chapman, Edward Seeley of Flippin, Ark., Lee Seeley of Wichita and Charles Seeley of Salina; a brother, Gene Fleagle of Enterprise; a sister, Bessie Fishburn of Larned; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m.Wednesday at Danner Funeral Home, Abilene, the Rev. J.Tal Tittsworth officiating. Burial will be in Prairiemound Cemetery, Solomon.

Visitation is at the funeral home, 501 N. Buckeye, Abilene, 67410, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Sarah E. Seeley, 85, died March 29, 1992 at Enterprise Estates Nursing Home.

She was born June 13, 1906, in the Talmage Community, the daughter of Harry and Mary Picking Fleagle.

On Nov. 30, 1932, she married Ralph Seeley, and the early years of their marriage were spent in Marion County, where they farmed. Later, they lived in Solomon, and she worked for the Seymour Packing Company. For several years, they lived in Great Bend, and in 1965 they returned to Dickinson County and made their home at 1418 S.W. Second, Abilene.

A son, Elmer Costigan, preceded her in death.

Surviving are her husband, Ralph, of the home; four sons, Kenneth Costigan, Chapman, Edward Seeley, Flippin, Ark., Lee Seeley, Wichita, and Charles Seeley, Salina; a brother, Gene Fleagle, Enterprise; a sister, Bessie Fishburn, Larned, 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 1:30 p.m., at the Danner Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Tal Tittsworth officiating. Burial will be in the Prairemound Cemetery, Solomon. The family will receive friends Tuesday, 7 to 8 p.m., at the Danner Funeral Home.
