Seeley (Provost) Shirley Mae Seeley, age 51, of Minnetonka, MN, formerly of Eden Prairie, MN. Died peacefully at home Friday afternoon, April 26. During her 9-month battle with a brain tumor, she received pleasure and peace being with friends and family. Born in Minneapolis, grew up in Spring Lake Park, MN, graduated from SLPHS. Just prior to her cancer diagnosis, Shirley owned the Carlson Wagonlit Travel franchise in Chanhassen, MN. In 1997 Shirley was honored by the Associate Division of Carlson Wagonlit Travel as Associate of the Year. Preceded in death by her father, Fred Provost and sister, Sharon Provost. Survived by her best friend and loving husband of 33 years, Allan; mother, Dorothy Drulenski of Minnetonka, MN; brother, David Provost of Highland, CA; sister, Lynda Frier of Las Vegas, NV; mother-in-law, Gwen Seeley of Minnetonka; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Michael Spillane of Eden Prairie; sister and brother-in-law, Maureen and Phillip Box of London, England; brother and sister-in-law, Owen and Diane Seeley of Monticello, MN; special friends, Candy and Jim Trapp, Sharon and Gary Lokken, Karen Amoto, Susan Skorvan; long time friend, Ellyn Murphy; the many friends at Carlson Wagonlit Travel Associate Division, CWT associate agency owners and managers, and the employees of Carlson Wagonlit Travel in Chanhassen, MN. A special thanks to the Methodist Hospital Hospice program, especially nurse, Mary Jo, home health aid, Katie and hospice volunteers, Dorie and Marilyn for all their loving care, comfort and compassion when it was needed most. Funeral service Tuesday, April 30, 11 AM at the Crystal Lake Funeral Home, corner of Penn and Dowling Aves. N., Mpls. Visitation Monday, 5-8 PM at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to service.
