Theodore L. Seeley, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Corning Hospital, following a brief illness.

Ted was born in Corning, NY on December 8, 1941, the son of the late Lyndon and Arietta (Wood) Seeley.

Ted is survived by his wife, Shiela, daughters, Lynne of Bradford and Lori of Penn Yan, grandsons, Connor and Carter both of Penn Yan, special friends, Al and Lynne Kephart of Corning; brothers and sisters, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Also, he is survived by his canine companion, “Max.”

Ted held various positions, including master cheese-maker over the 47 years of service at Kraft Foods in Campbell, NY.

During his time at Pollio Dairy, he won numerous awards. Since his retirement in 2003, Ted enjoyed spending his time puttering around the house. In 2006, Ted purchased his Harley Touring Bike. His new hobby took him, along with some fellow Kraft buddies with bikes, on many road trips, which led to a trip to Laconia, NH in June of this year.

As everyone who knew Ted realized, he was a very private person. Thus, at his request, there will be no calling hours or services. Arrangements by Carpenter’s Funeral Home.
