Publication MONTROSE - Vera Seeley, 84, of Montrose died at 4:02 p.m. Friday (Nov. 12, 2010) at the St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup. Burial will be in the Mullen Cemetery in rural Montrose. Visitation will be 12 until service time at the funeral chapel. She was born March 21, 1926, in rural Montrose, the daughter of Thomas Arthur and Iva Blanche Plummer Ryder. She married Willard Seeley in 1946; he died in 1997. Survivors include two sons, Randy Seeley of Montrose and Jeff Seeley of Greenup; one daughter, Edith Cornwell of Dieterich; one brother, Arthur Ryder of Neoga; three sisters, Nadene Wagner of Toledo, Norma Wallace of Montrose and Millie Ebbert of Montrose; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Seeley was a C.N.A. at the Lakeland Nursing Home in Effingham. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Montrose.
