JEROME — Victoria C. Seeley, age 95, of Jerome, Idaho, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2011, at the Laurels of Carson City in Carson City, MI.

Victoria was born in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on Oct. 4, 1915, the daughter of William W. and Helen H. (Reid) Scott. Victoria, a graduate of the University of Idaho, resided most of her married life in Jerome, Idaho. Upon Richard’s retirement, they lived in Sun City West, Ariz., and Boise, Idaho. Victoria married Richard H. Seeley on May 25, 1940, in Nampa, Idaho. He passed away March 10, 2007.

Victoria was a member of PEO Sisterhood, holding every office. She enjoyed singing, reading and playing bridge. Victoria was the president of the Women’s Golf Club and an avid golfer. She was the first woman to hit a hole in one at the Jerome Country Club where her late husband was a founding member. Victoria was a devout Presbyterian and a member of the Jerome Presbyterian Church. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and visited every state except Alaska.

She is survived by her two daughters, Vickie (Ron Jacobs) Barlow of Perrinton, Mich., and Peggy Montgomery of Perrinton, Mich.; two sons, Jim (Rae) Seeley of Lincolnshire, Ill., and Don (Terri) Seeley of Perrinton, Mich.; four grandchildren; Jeff Barlow, Anna (Brian) Wildish, Megan (Bret) Levins and Sara Montgomery; and two great-grandchildren, Jacob Barlow and Jackson Wildish. Victoria was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Jason Barlow; two brothers and two sisters.
