Walter Seeley, 89, Butler, MO (formerly of Kansas City, MO), passed away February 4, 2001, at Bates County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Walt passed away at the age of 89. He was born August 15, 1911 in Zenda, Kansas, the son of George and Ella. He was united in marriage to Grace on April 17, 1934 and to this union one son was born. Walt was a dispatcher for the local police department before retiring in 1981. Walt enjoyed spending time fishing and camping. Walt also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two sisters, Thelma and Helen; his granddaughter, Patty; and his daughter-in-law, Cheryl. Walt is survived by his son William of Missouri; his brother, Harold of Missouri; his sister, Hazel of Oregon; his granddaughter, Misty of Missouri; his great-granddaughter, Grace of Missouri; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
