KEIZER - Walter was born to Lottie May (Erb) Seeley and Walter Wesley Seeley in Wessington, South Dakota. Walter passed away at the age of 66 years. Walter spent the majority of his life in the Los Angeles area and moved to Salem/Keizer in 1999 to be near his children and grandchildren.

Walter was enlisted in the Air Force for 4 years as a young man and began his career as an Auto Technician and moved his way up to management. He loved working on cars and sharing his profound knowledge with others. He loved going to the Casino with his kids and spending quality time with his grandchildren.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harold Seeley; and son, Steven Smith. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Seeley; ex-wife and friend of 25 years, Carol Ann Seeley; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Cassie Seeley; daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Terry Nixon; daughter and son-in-law, Tami and Ron Smisek; son, Kenneth Seeley; son, Donald Seeley; daughter, Cheryl Seeley; son, Terry Burns; 4 sisters; 1 brother; 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

At Walters request no services will be held, but we will hold a "Celebration of Life" from 12 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, February 24, 2008 at the home of Mark and Cassie Seeley, 7132 35th Ave NE, Keizer OR 97303.

Arrangements are by Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.
