Mr. Ward Seeley, Jr., 60, of Schenectady, N.Y., passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2003.

He was born May 20, 1943 in Hudson Falls, the son of Vivian Mullen Seeley and the late Ward Seeley, Sr.

Mr. Seeley was a chef in many area restaurants and managed a Ramada Inn in Florida for many years. His enjoyments included golf and cooking. He was a member of the High Country Chef’s Association.

Survivors include his mother, Vivian Seeley of Glens Falls; a daughter, Maureen Seeley of South Carolina; three sons, Brian Seeley of North Carolina, Joseph Packard of Rochester and Major Anthony Packard of Camp Lejeune, N.C.; one brother, Robert Seeley and his wife, Dee, of Cambridge; two sisters, Virginia Dean and her husband, Skip, of Queensbury and Susan Larkins of Schenectady; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Ann Fletcher.

There will be no calling hours and services will be private.

His family suggests memorial contributions to the rescue squad of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St. in Hudson Falls, N.Y.
