Wayne Dick Seeley, age 59, of Kawkawlin, formerly of Tuscola County, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at Bay Regional Medical Center. Wayne was born on June 14, 1949 in Cass City to the late Oscar and Lydia (Ewald) Seeley.

He was a 1968 graduate of Cass City High School and went to work at Delphi. He was drafted into the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. Upon his return from Vietnam, he resumed his 38 year career with Delphi, retiring within the last few years. For the last twenty-four years, he has been married to the former Laurie Ayer. Wayne loved his motorcycle, bowling and playing with his grandchildren. He had been a member of the Caro V.F.W. POST #4164 and the Caro Eagles Aerie #3587 prior to leaving the area.

He is survived by his wife Laurie, his children; Wayne R. (Nicole) Seeley of Caro, Erika and Philip Seeley at home; two grandchildren; Andrew and Isaac of Caro; his siblings; Joan (Jim) Ware of Cass City, Betty Watson of Cass City, Joyce (Gary) Hornbacher of Rio Rico, Arizona and Ronald (Jean) Seeley of Mississippi; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dennis Kucharczyk officiating. Visitation will be held at the Collon Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
