SEELEY - Wayne Richard Seeley, age 65, died on December 12, 2010 at his home under hospice care. He was born on February 8, 1945, at his family home in Grand Rapids, MI, to Chester D. and Mona (Fliearman) Seeley. Wayne served in the U.S. Navy. On September 7, 1963, he married Nancy V. Taylor at her parent's home in Alaska, MI. They settled with their children in Middleville in 1972. He retired from Bradford White after 17 years in production. Wayne served on the Middleville Village Council. In May of 1981 he received his diploma from the Thornapple Kellogg School. Wayne loved spending time in the outdoors hunting and camping, but especially loved fishing in any season. He adored time with his children and grandchildren. His family includes his wife, Nancy of Middleville; children, Wayne, Jr. and Agnes Seeley of Alto, Delaina and Scott Sias of Kentwood, and Robert Seeley and Pamela Meyers of Palo; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; brothers, Donald and Cindy Seeley of Alto; and brother-in-law, Earl Lynn of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Ellen Lynn.
