Wilbur Robert Seeley II

CANTERBURY -- Wilbur Robert "Bill" Seeley II, 65, of 12 Puffer Road, died March 7, 2008, at Concord VNA Hospice House after a long illness.

He was born in Waterbury, Conn., on May 28, 1942, the son of Robert J. and Florence G. (Greider) Seeley. Mr. Seeley graduated from Crosby High School in Waterbury.

He was a longtime Franklin resident, moving to Canterbury nine years ago.

Mr. Seeley owned and operated Seeco Plumbing and Heating for many years. He belonged to Meridian Lodge 60, F&AM in Franklin, Elks, BPOE 1280 and was a former Moose. Mr. Seeley was a U. S. Navy veteran.

In addition to his mother of Canterbury, the family includes his wife of 27 years, Linda C. (Hubbard) Seeley of Canterbury; two sons, Wilbur R. Seeley III of Pepperell, Mass., and John C. Seeley of East Andover; two stepsons, Robert A. Pettingill of Webster, and Louis E. Pettingill of Center Barnstead; a stepdaughter, Karen L. Pettingill of Penacook; five grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond H. Seeley of Wolfeboro, and Robert J. Seeley of Shipman, Va.; and nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: There are no calling hours.

A committal service is Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at New Hampshire State Veteran's Cemetery Chapel, Boscawen.

The William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home of Tilton is assisting with arrangements.
