Services for Willard B. Seeley, 78, of Forestville, retired machinist and a World War II veteran, will be held at 1 p.m. today in Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave., Silver Creek. Burial will be in Smith Mill Cemetery, Town of Hanover.

Seeley, who was born in Irving, died Wednesday (Aug. 19, 1998) in Lake Shore Hospital in Irving after a long illness.

He served in the Army's 709th Tank Battalion in Europe during World War II.

Seeley was a machinist for Duriron Co. in Angola until his retirement. He was a Mason.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, the former K. Joyce Flammang; two daughters, Gail Donaghue of the Town of Tonawanda and Jill Howard of the Town of Boston; three brothers, his twin, William of Forestville, and Robert and LaVerne, both of Silver Creek; two sisters, Pearl Myers of Naples, Fla., and Jeanette Griewisch of Silver Creek; and five grandchildren.
