William A. Seeley Bill Seeley, 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, at his home in Manchester, with Mary, his loving wife of 65 years, and grandchildren nearby.

He was a life resident of Akron, retiring from Babcock and Wilcox in 1978 after 44 years of service. He was a World War II Army veteran, and a member of the Manchester United Methodist Church.

Bill was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Andrus and Walter Seeley. He is survived by his devoted wife, Mary; sister, Leona Smarr; son, Charles (Betty). Bill is also survived by his grandson, William "Ben'' and his wife, Angela Seeley, and great-granddaughter-to-be; granddaughter, Jennifer Seeley; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2005, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Adams-Mason Memorial Chapel, 791 E. Market St., Akron. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Stephanie Lee officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice/VNS, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, Ohio 44333. (Adams-Mason 330-535-9186.)
