VETERAN OF 112TH DEAD AT JAMESTOWN

Jamestown, N.Y. – Nov 14 – The death of William Hoyt Seeley, a veteran of Company A, 112th New York Volunteers, occurred yesterday at his home, 89 Lister street, at the age of eighty-one years and eleven months. Mr. Seeley had lived in Jamestown seven years, coming to this city from Stockton. He went out with the 112th regiment in 1862, and served through the remainder of the Civil War. He was a member of Post James M. Brown, G.A.R.

Mr. Seeley leaves two sons, Fred O. and Forrest Seeley, both of this city, and a half brother, Oscar Seeley of Onondaga. The funeral was held from the family home, 89 Lister street this afternoon and the body will be taken to Stockton for interment. Post Brown will take part in the service.
