William N. Seeley died at St. Vincent’s hospital of pneumonia on Saturday night. Mr. Seeley was engaged in the sheep business at Roundup with W. Strait, who has been seriously ill of the same disease at his home on the ranch for several weeks. Mr. Seeley was taken ill at the ranch about 10 days ago. He was brought in to the hospital immediately. He bore the journey well and for several days his illness was not considered alarming. Then serious symptoms set in, but he was not considered in immediate danger, when death came suddenly and unexpectedly. Mr. Seeley came to Montana in 1892 from Scranton, Pa., and was employed on the sheep ranch of H.G. Clement, where he had remained ever since till last fall, when he engaged in business with Mr. Strait. He was the stepson of Mrs. Clement’s sister, Mrs. Seeley, who visited here last summer. He was an upright young man and had gained the friendship and respect of all his acquaintances, to whom the news of his death was a great shock. The remains were sent to Ballston Spa, N.Y., for interment Monday night. He will be buried beside his mother.
