Ex-Oneontan’s Father Killed

Railroad men learned during the weekend of the accidental death of William Seeley, father of W.L. Seeley, who resided at 26 Ceperley Ave., until recently.

The father was killed Friday morning while working as a bridge and building carpenter at Jermyn, Pa. A truck was hauling a trailer loaded with ties on a road. The trailer jackknifed and Mr. Seeley tried to leap to safety but failed.

His son was employed in the division engineering department on Prospect Street until two months ago when he was transferred to Albany.
