William Wayne Seeley passed away at 3:55 PM on September 5, 2007, at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, IN. He was born on January 25, 1937, in Mexico, MO to Laverta Barnes Seeley and William Glenn Seeley. Bill graduated from Vandalia High School and attended Northeast Missouri State in Kirksville, MO. He was a former resident of Augusta, GA, and Laquey, Missouri. He retired from Delta Airlines after 35 years of service in several locations throughout the country.

Bill was an avid sports fan and rarely missed a St. Louis Cardinal baseball game. He liked to fish, golf, bowl and play softball. For several years he coached Little League teams and would make sure every boy had the opportunity to participate. On Friday nights Bill could always be found in the stands supporting the local high school football and basketball teams. He spent several years as chair of a committee raising funds at Toledo Express Airport to benefit Sunshine Children’s Home for physically and mentally challenged children. He was a gifted artist and volunteered many hours working with the children. He was passionate in his support of Boys Town and the Christian Children’s Fund. He was a member of the Methodist Church and a Mason. Through his extensive travels Bill made many friends who will remember his compassion for others and smile and ready wit.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Glenn Dale Seeley and Teddy Duane Seeley, his daughter, Holli K. Seeley and his wife, Georgia Seeley, who died in October, 2004..

He is survived by his companion, Mari Lou Wyatt of Universal, his daughters, Twila Crane ( Gary) of Universal, Heidi Pacheco (Dan) of Saguache, CO, Denise Lucas (David,) of Augusta, Ga., his stepchildren, Robin Webber (Joe) of Laquey, MO, Fred Joy and Bill Joy of Robertsdale, AL, and Patricia Pett (Greg ) of Grovetown, GA., and special daughter, Chiffon Michaud (Jonathan) of Arlington, TX. He is survived by 24 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and his many, many friends.

There will be no visitation
