James G. Seely, 74, of 566 S. Bluff St., died at 12:45 a.m. today in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette. Born Aug. 17, 1916, in Shawneetown, Ill., he was the son of Earnest J. and Mildred Dailey Seely. On Aug. 9, 1938, he was married in Shawneetown, Ill., to Vina M. Tucker, who survives. In 1964, he moved from Milwaukee, Wis., to Monticello, where he worked for Alloy Rod 38 years, retiring in 1980. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus in Monticello. Also surviving are two sons, James T, Tustin, Calif., and William J., Portage, Wis.; two daughters, Judy Kopshinsky, Waukesha, Wis., and Joan M. Chapman, Lafayette; three brothers, Triad, Ridgeway, Ill., Dan, Shawneetown, Ill., and Norbert M., West Branch, Mich.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. One son and two sisters preceded in death. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, with the Rev. James Goodrum officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, South Milwaukee, Wis,
