James Harold "Jim" Seely, age 72, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2014. He was surrounded by his loving family and the kind support staff at Chandler Hall in Newtown, PA.

Jim was born in Trevose, PA, on February 23, 1942, to the late Evelyn and Harold "Jim" Seely and lived his entire life in the Lower Bucks County area. At an early age, Jim became a member of the Harry Houseman Masonic Lodge in Somerton, PA. Jim was also a member of the "Pennypack Junior's Riding Club," where he rode show horses and eventually met his life-long companion, his wife Patricia. Jim graduated from Bensalem Township High School in 1960. After high school, Jim served in the U.S. Army followed by several years in the U.S. National Guard. After his years of military service, Jim was employed at Merit Metal in Warrington, PA, where he served as plant manager for 25+ years. Finally, Jim was co-owner of Dari Deli in Bristol, PA for 10 years before his retirement in 2001.

Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn, in 1991, his father, Harold, in 1995 and his brother, Robert, in 1998. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Patricia (Cragg) and several in-laws; Merry (Leon Szymkowiak) Seely, of Warminster, PA; Richard (Linda) Cragg, of Pittsburgh, PA; and Virginia Campbell, of Gulfport, MS. Jim is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday, 11:30 to 1:30 p.m., at Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Rd. in Huntingdon Valley. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. with internment immediately following at Forest Hills Cemetery.
