Publication LONGVIEW — Services for Johnnie Margaret Nunley Seely, 94, of Longview, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Mrs. Seely was born February 10, 1918, in Hurley, N.M., and died May 7, 2012, in Longview. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today, May 8, 2012, at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Johnnie Margaret Nunley Seely, 94 of Longview, will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, May 9 at Lakeview Funeral Home in Longview. Burial at Lakeview Cemetery will follow after the service. She passed away Monday morning after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Nunley Seely is preceded in death by two husbands, Curtis Paul Nunley and Hank Seely, a daughter, Dixie Annette Pettit, and three sisters, Esta Lee Tye, Nadine Mowinkle, and Annie "Topsy" Yarbrough.

Mrs. Nunley Seely was born on February 10, 1918 in Hurley, New Mexico. She married Curtis Paul Nunley in 1935 and moved with him to Longview in 1951. In 1963, she went to work for Longview ISD as the cafeteria manager of Bramlette Elementary School. She knew every child by name, and later watched many those children play for her beloved Longview Lobos; she was an avid fan and season ticket holder for the Lobos for many years.

Mrs. Nunley Seely was married to Curtis Paul Nunley for 53 years, until his passing in 1989. Years later, she married her friend, Hank Seely of Fort Worth for 11 years, until he passed away in 2009. She was a member of Longview Church of Christ.

Pallbearers will include Mike Adkisson, Gary Lane Clifton, Jr., Anthony Moon, Shane Nunley, Juan Puga, and Joe Smith.

Mrs. Nunley Seely is survived by her son, Floyd Nunley of Jefferson, 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
