Joseph Seely, age 92, died June 11 at Dewittville, N.Y., Hospital, where he had been a patient for two months.

He was born August 20, 1858, at Troy Center, a son of William and Charlotta Sterling Seeley. He was the last of the family of 10 children. He leaves a son, Homer Seely of Portland, N.Y.; a granddaughter, Mrs. Max Smith, also of Portland, N.Y., and two great-grandchildren; also a sister-in-law, Mrs. Pearl Seely, of Grand Valley.

Funeral services were held last Thursday afternoon at the Morse funeral home at Brocton, N.Y., and burial was in Brockton beside his wife, who died 26 years ago.

Relatives attending were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wright of Enterprise, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Cornell, Jr., of Grand Valley, Mr. and Mrs. John Moronski of Torpedo, Ralph Seely of Townville, Walter and William Seely of Troy Center, Elmer Seely of Erie, Mrs. Emma Seely and son, Jack, Ernest Seely and Lillie Moore of Titusville; Dale and Nial Hunter and sister, Mabel Hunter, of Meadville; Mr. and Mrs. John Baressi of Dunkirk, N.Y.; also relatives and friends from Portland and Westfield, N.Y.
