Publication Joyce Johnson Seely passed away after a brief illness on September 4, 2013, her 56th wedding anniversary. She was born in Winder, Idaho February 12, 1931 and later moved to Boise with her family. She was a missionary in the Brazilian Mission from 1954 to 1956 where she met the man who would become her husband. James W. Seely and Joyce were married in the Salt Lake City temple September 4, 1957. They lived in Laramie, Wyoming where their children were born, then moved to Concord, California in 1966. They moved to Centerville, Utah in 1994. She and her husband served four full-time missions: three in the Family History Center in Salt Lake City and one in Portugal. She is survived by her husband, five children: David of Salt Lake City, Karl of Salt Lake City, Dorothy (David) Dayton of Kaysville, Nathan (Andrea) of West Jordan, and Janet (Roger) Denison of Danville, NH, and fourteen grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister, and two grandchildren. Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend will be missed every day. Nós te amamos. Funeral services will be held Monday September 9, 2013 at 11 AM in the Centerville South Stake Center, 270 N 300 E. where a viewing will be held from 9:45 to 10:45. Interment-Centerville City Cemetery.
