Sidney Don Seely

Hamilton- Sidney Don Seely, 53, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2001, at his home in Sunflower County. He was born Jan. 4, 1948, in Monroe County to George Curtis and Florence Irene Smith Seely. He attended Hamilton High School. He was a barber, a welder, and a Baptist.

Services will be held at 2pm, Thursday at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in the Ross Cemetery in Hamilton.

Survivors include his son, Dewayne Seely and his wife, Sylvia of New Albany; his father, George Curtis Seely of Aberdeen; six sisters, Martha S. Ott and her husband, Charles of Columbus, Hazel Lockhart and her husband, W. D. of Hamilton, Mavis Stanley and her husband, Robert of Caledonia, Reba Conn of Columbus, Judy Guess and her husband, Jerry of Caledonia and Jo Brown of Aberdeen; three grandchildren, Annie, Gage and Hope Seely.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Florence Irene Seely, in 2000.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Stanley, Juston West, Earl Arndt, John Brown III, Roman Brown, Jeremy Guess, Garrett Bustin and Greg Lockhart.
