Mrs. Sophie Ann "Sunny" Seely (Remenak) age 96, of Grand Rapids went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2013. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Russ Yonkers, second husband, Donald A. Seely, her senior companion, John Gardner, brothers: Al, Leo and John Remenak; brother-in-laws: Roy Seely (Ruth), Max Seely; sister-in-law, Ardith Remenak; step daughter, Donna Scribner (Bob); step grandson, Brent Seely; nephew, Larry Remenak. She is survived by her son, Terry C. Seely (Mary Beth); grandchildren: Megan Seely (Denny), Caitlin Gardner (Brandon), Ryan Seely; great grandchildren: Paige Seely- London and Caiden Gardner; stepson, Patrick Seely; step grandchildren: Barb Scribner, Mike Scribner (PJ) Bobby Scribner (Jean), Dan Scribner (Dena), Mary Jo Anderson (Dave) and Sheyna Cronin (Jarrod); many step great grand children; brother, Maurice Remenak. Sophie enjoyed traveling, family was everything to her they will truly miss her cooking. Sunny had a tremendous respect for education, she received her GED at the age of 66. Her family will receive visitors Tuesday 6-9 pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance NW. Memorial contributions to the Kent County Humane Society will be appreciated
