Todd James Seely


MOUNTAINVILLE-- Todd James Seely, loving husband, father, grandpa and brother, 55, Mountainville; passed away June 27, 2014, of lung cancer at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center (UVRMC), Provo.

He was born Aug 26, 1958, to Burt and Maxine Seely, in Mt Pleasant, along with his twin brother, Ted.

He was sealed to Connie R. Shelley in the Provo LDS Temple Oct. 16, 1981.

He attended school in North Sanpete, where he graduated in 1977. He participated in band, football and wrestling. He loved to fix things and without any formal education, he understood how everything worked and could figure it out.

He loved the farm and watching things grow, his old rock n roll blasting, playing harmonica and taking pictures. He loved his family, especially his grandkids.

Todd is survived by his wife of 32 years, Connie; sons, Jayson ( Melissa), Riverton; JJ (Mosi), Ephraim; JM Seely, Mt Pleasant; daughters, Jennie (Sione) Pakalani, Logan; and Jessika, Mt Pleasant. Grandchildren, Christofer, Leilani, Colton, Carson Seely. and Sawyer Pakalani.

He is also survived by his siblings, Steven (Gayle) Seely; Ted (Tena) Seely; Donny (Karen) Seely; Linda (Brent) Taylor; and Bonnie (Spencer) Swapp, all of Mt. Pleasant; Debbie (Ralph) Levine, and Julie (Brent) Sorenson, all of Pleasant Grove; mother-in-law, Elaine Redmond, Fairview; brothers-in-law, Troy (Melanie) Shelley, Ephraim; and Deric (Karen) Shelley, Pleasant Grove; and sister-in-law, Sherrie Shelley, St. George.

Todd was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dennis Seely, and father-in-law, Melvin Shelley.

A viewing will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Thursday July 3, in the Mt. Pleasant North LDS Stake Center, 300 West 500 North.

Graveside services and interment at 1 p.m., following the viewing, in the Fairview City Cemetery.
