Walter L. Seely, 66, of Tryonville RD, Troy Township, died yesterday morning in Titusville Hospital a few hours after he was admitted for a sudden illness.

He was born in Troy Township Dec. 4, 1893, the son of John and Louisa Deeter Seely. Mr. Seely was a retired farmer and had lived his entire life on a farm in Troy Township.

He was a member of the Troy Center Methodist Church, the Troy Center Grange and the Clarence Judd post 994, American Legion, of Townville.

He served in World War I in company K 56, the pioneer infantry.

Mr. Seely is survived by his wife, Myrtle, a son, William Seely of Tryonville, RD, a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Semon of Erie, a foster-daughter, Betty Lewallin of Cleveland, and a mother-in-law, Ethel Marsh of Tryonville, RD.

Friends may call at the Willis L. Arnold Funeral Home in Townville from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 today and Thursday. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Troy Center Methodist Church with the pastor, L.D. Owens, officiating. Interment will be in Troy Center Cemetery.
