Publication William J. "Bill" Seely, age 75, of Toledo, passed away peacefully, Saturday, November 23, 2013, at Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek. He was born on May 7, 1938, to Frank and Evelyn (Gerding) in Canton, Ohio. Bill owned and operated Advance Muffler Shop for 20 years before retiring. He enjoyed golfing and car racing, especially drag racing. Bill loved music and was an avid piano player. He was a jack of all trades. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bill is survived by his loving children, Sue Ellen Seely and William Michael Seely; granddaughter, Melanie (Justin) Irons; great-grandchildren, Valerie and Gavin; brother, Thomas Seely; 3 nieces, and 1 nephew. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Seely; nephew, Dan Seely, and mother of his children, Carole Seely.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

The family would like to express their gratitude to all of the staff and caregivers at the Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek, Hospice of Northwest Ohio and ProMedica Home Care for all of their love and care given to Bill and his family through this difficult time.
